Do you offer technical support over phone?

Yes. Many computer problems can be solved over the phone. As long as you have the basic computer skills, we can walk you through the steps necessary to get your computer and network up and running. We charge $60 per hour for phone support.

Do you offer onsite computer service?

Yes. We come to your office or home to install, upgrade, diagnose, and troubleshoot your computers and network.

Do you work afterhours?

Yes. We make on-site service and house calls during evening and weekend hours. We also provide emergency repair service.

Do you service or repair Mac's?

Yes, we support both Mac's and PC's.

Do you have a trip charge for onsite service?

No, we don't have a trip charge. We only charge the time we spend at your site.

What if you can't fix my computer problems ?

If we can't fix your computer problems, you don't owe us a penny. Yes, it is completely on us.

What should I do with my old computer and monitor?

Each year, computer wastes contain billions of pounds of toxic materials that can seriously harm the environment. You can safely dispose your used computers and monitors at designated computer disposal places in Hennepin, Dakota and Ramsey County Computer Recycle Centers. We recommend that you contact the computer recycle centers in your county and dispose the used computer and electronic equipments safely. Some recycle centers charge a recycle fee for old computers.

Can you save my files on a dead hard drive?

If your computer won't boot up, it may be caused by a corrupted operating system, not a hard drive failure. In such a case, all your files on the hard drive should be safe and can be recovered. If you your computer doesn't boot up and make clicking or grinding noise, there is a good chance that your hard drive has hardware malfunction. In such a case, your files are still stored on the hard drive, but recovering the data requires special equipments and can be very expensive, costing over $1,000.

How can I improve the wireless signal in my house?

Try moving the router. The higher the router antenna is, the farther the signal is. Keep the router away from wireless phones, microwave ovens, washers, dryers and other electronic devices. If the signal is still weak, buy a bigger external antenna or a router with a range booster.

Do you repair laptops?

We can solve any software related problems for notebook computers. For some hardware problems or hardware replacements, we can help. Because laptop computers made by different manufacturers are built with special parts, you may need to contact the manufacturer if your laptop screen is broken or if your keyboard stops functioning. Please call us and let us know the problem. If it is something that we can't fix, we will make recommendations on how to have it fixed fast.
